Background
This scholarship honors the life of the brilliant, confident, fearless, and strong-willed young lady who never hesitated to speak her mind. She was the only daughter of Don and Patrice Dodds who died on June 8, 2021, 11 days after her 14th birthday. Her name, Diane Angela, literally means divine messenger of God.
Despite her young age, Diane had a deep understanding of the world and the struggles that people face. Diane’s death was a great loss to everyone who knew her, but her spirit lives on through the scholarship that bears her name.
This scholarship is designed to help students who share Diane’s passion for helping others and her commitment to making a difference in the world.
