About Don

Christ’s Disciple, Husband, Father, Serial Entrepreneur, Business Consultant, Speaker & Microblogger.

As the eldest of three sons Don Dodds was born to West Indian missionaries and was fortunate to travel the world and interact with various cultures at an early age. His father, Dr. J. Evans Dodds, is a retired Methodist Minister now doing missionary work with their mother a retired Registered Nurse.

Don started his first informal business at age 13. At 16, he entered Howard University as a pre-med student in a 6 year accelerated program. In his senior year Dodds began devoting his energies to the spirit of entrepreneurship.

As a visionary he launched his first company at age 23. In 2000, he sold the company and began mentoring young entrepreneurs. As the founder of 2 multi-million dollar corporations he helped others to create, manage and grow over 300 small businesses and non-profit organizations in the United States.

Over the course of the next 15 years Dodds served as an executive in the Information Technology, Real Estate, Fund Raising, Business Development and Entertainment Industries. With a wealth of experience in high-level operations management and team development he drives success through strategic positioning, focus and proven leadership.

With a unique combination of wisdom, practical advice, energy, great delivery and a diverse background to draw from, Don shares his passion for transforming people through keynote presentations and team building retreats. As a seasoned speaker he is committed to assisting individuals, businesses and organizations create success stories.

Don is his happily married to his wife, Patrice, and is is the proud father of 3 sons and a daughter. The Dodds family is very actively involved in ministry and serves in various capacities as part of a new church plant, Contemporary Church, in Villa Rica, Georgia.

He is the author of Success Lives In You, a Managing Partner of Green Life United and Chief Development Officer of The Media Don.
